The word discipline has a negative connotation. When an employee is to be disciplined it brings up memories of childhood when they were punished. Because of this negative feeling the employee tends to shut down, become resentful, and gains very little benefit from the process. The true purpose of a process should be to change behavior rather than to punish. What if there was a way that the employee could be involved in the process and not feel as if they were being punished. This process is called the Resolutionary Process™.

This is the uncut/unedited recording of the beakout session conducted at the 2009 National Safety Cponcil Congress & Expo in Orlando, FL.
